PULASKI CITY LEADERS GATHERED FOR A TUESDAY SESSION

THE PULASKI BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMEN MET TUESDAY IN REGULAR SESSION. THEY APPROVED PERMITS FOR THREE LIQUOR STORES AND A RESOLUTION ALLOWING THE GILES COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO DO WORK FOR THE CITY IF NEEDED. ALSO APPROVED WAS A RESOLUTION ALLOWING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR A COMMUNITY DEVEOPMENT BLOCK GRANT THAT WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE NEW WATER PUMPS.  THE ORDINANCE ALLOWING BUILDINGS TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON LOTS THAT BORDER ROADS CONSTRUCTED TO CITY SPECIFICATIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO JUST CITY ROADS PASSED ON FIRST READING.  THE MEETINGS SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 16TH AND 23RD WERE CANCELLED DUE TO THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY.
