CITY ANNOUNCES POSSIBLE TRAFFIC DELAYS DUE TO UPCOMING PROJECT
(APRIL 23, 2014)  ROAD WORK SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK MAY SLOW TRAVEL IN LAWRENCEBURG.  THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG HAS ANNOUNCED THAT MOTORISTS SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING ON SPRINGER ROAD AND WEAKLEY CREEK ROAD ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH.  BEGINNING AT 9 A-M, CITY WORKERS WILL BEGIN TO PROOF ROLL THE TWO STREETS TO DETERMINE IF THE ROAD BASE NEEDS REPAIR.  THIS WILL BEGIN AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 43 AND WEAKLEY CREEK ROAD TO SUNDANCE DRIVE, ALSO THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 64 AT SPRINGER ROAD TO WEAKLEY CREEK ROAD.  THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO TAKE SIX HOURS TO COMPLETE.  THE ROADS WILL NOT BE CLOSED DURING THE WORK BUT WILL BE CONGESTED WITH HEAVY EQUIPMENT.
